My stay at Grand Hotel Gianicolo was truly exceptional. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat on a hill while still being close to everything. The pool was a delightful surprise, especially during the warm October days. The reception staff went above and beyond, providing excellent assistance with a warm and friendly demeanor. The room was spacious and clean, overlooking a beautiful garden.During our 3-night stay, we enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast with stunning views from the 4th-floor breakfast room. The pool area, managed by the attentive Marco, was a highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere. The memory foam mattress ensured a comfortable night's sleep.The hotel's restaurant, Corte degli Archi, was a true gem. The menu was carefully curated, offering a delightful selection of Mediterranean cuisine and wines. The setting by the pool added a special charm to our dining experience.Grand Hotel Gianicolo provided a cozy and intimate Italian-style stay with modern amenities and excellent service. I look forward to returning and enjoying the fabulous views from the roof terrace once the renovations are complete.
